Sup4Nav established by a team of creators from the Faculty of Navigation in order to implement the Navdec invention based on a licence given by the Maritime University was among 5 beneficiaries from Poland during the last call for proposals in the SME Instrument competition - phase I. The European Commission received 1569 proposals for assessment, 251 of which reached the required point threshold and 60.1% of which will receive funds.
Again, we have an opportunity to promote the inventive potential of our University in Poland. The invention of professor Bolesław Kuźniewski called "An underwater generator set and the method of its setting in sea water column" is taking part in the final of Gazeta Prawna competition. Eureka! On 18th April (Saturday), in the Professor Z. Łaski auditorium, the final of the Provincial Geography and Nautology Competition was held, which has been organised for eight years by the Faculty of Navigation of the Maritime University of Szczecin in cooperation with the West Pomeranian Teacher Training Centre.
On 17 March 2015 in the seat of the SSPA Sweden in Goeteborg another (second) work meeting of the ESABALT (Enhanced Situational Awareness to Improve Maritime Safety in the Baltic) project took place. The project is carried out by partners from Finland, Sweden and Poland.
The second ESABALT(Enhanced Situational Awareness to Improve Maritime Safety in the Baltic) project meeting was held in Goteborg, Sweden. The meeting was organized by project partner - SSPA Sweden on March 17th.
The ESABALT project is performed by partners from Finland Sweden and Poland. Poland is represented by Maritime University of Szczecin (MUS).

IMO's Sub-committee on Safety of Navigation, Communication, Search and Rescue held its second session in London between 9.03 - 13.03.2015.

On 18th March this year, the fourteenth Pre-navigation Conference was held in the "Panorama" hotel. The conference has been originated and organised, from the very beginning, by the Polish Inland Shipowner Association*. The motto of the conference was: "The Polish Inland Shipping 2015".

The first International Navigation Conference, organised by London Royal Institute of Navigation, was held between 23-26 February 2015 in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The second place for the team of employees of the Faculty of Navigation of the Maritime University in Szczecin in the Galileo Masters 2014 - European Satellite Navigation Competition.

The Faculty of Navigation of our university gained the right to confer the title of doktor habilitowany (habilitated doctor) of technical sciences in the field of transport. Therefore, it is the first Faculty of Navigation in Poland with such rights. Except for the Maritime University of Szczecin, studies at the same faculty are also provided by: Gdynia Maritime University and Polish Naval Academy.

Officially endorsed by the Rector of the University of Humanities and Technology in Radom, 18th International Scientific Conference entitled "TransComp2014 - Computer support systems for science, industry and transport" was held in Zakopane between 1st and 4th December 2014.
On Wednesday 3 December 2014 representatives of the Student Science Innovator's Club Ordo ex Chao visited the Hasso-Plattner-Institut School of Design Thinking at Universität Potsdam (D-School).
On 18th October the Maritime University of Szczecin had the pleasure of hosting a meeting with representatives of DEEP BV, a Dutch company in the field of hydrography and geophysics. The company was set up in Amsterdam in 1997. It has since been implementing hydrographic and geophysical projects all over the world.
International scientific conference "Transport Systems Telematics - TST'14" was held between 22-25 October 2014.
