On 14 April 2018, the Polish Academic Rowing Machine Championships were held in Warsaw.

In the male category, our University was represented by 8 students (Maksymilian Ruciński, Michał Golański, Fryderyk Grodecki, Aleksander Florczak, Michał Sobanda, Szymon Gardziejewski, Kiryllo Terentiev, Eryk Stański, Krzysztof Dziubek), who had a significant success taking the 10th place out of 40 participating universities from around Poland. Nevertheless, the greatest success was wining of the gold team medal in the category of social and natural science universities out of 12 participants. Individually, Frydery Grodecki won the silver medal in the light weight with the result of 3 min 7 sec. at the distance of 1000 m.

Among women (Karolina Woźniak, Joanna Dudek, Małgorzata Filipzik, Kinga Okoń, Monika Kłos), our students needed only 2 sec. to win the bronze medal in the category of our university.

We wish the contestants and their coach, Wojciech Jaśkiewicz, further success, this time in rowing on water.
